Kids Need Music presents a program of art songs, arias and popular songs by acclaimed soprano Kathleen O’Mara and pianist Chris Reynolds. To help get us there, we are holding a special art show fund-raiser, which to date has been a tremendous success!Our gallery shows are an intrinsic component of our yearly programming at the Academy and a valuable resource for artists in our region to exhibit their work in a beautiful space.

This event will feature a panel composed of three local advocates: Tina Dipper (program director of Perfect 10), Caroline Wheeler (founder and executive director of Sisters for Peace), and Christina Lowery (CEO of Girl Rising), who will serve as moderator.
Back by popular demand, Martha Belardo, of Hudson Valley Fiber Arts, is returning to instruct participants in making adorable chicks. Think spring! The registration fee of $65/pp includes all materials and individual instruction. Registration is limited. The workshop is suitable for crafters, aged 13 and up. No experience necessary.
