Style and Rhythms of West African Drumming with Greg Mosley

Style and Rhythms of West African Drumming offers a basic understanding of djembe drum fundamentals.

Join us for this interactive Zoom program which offers a basic understanding of djembe drum fundamentals. Participants may use African hand drums or any available hand drums (drums that don’t require sticks). Table tops and plastic buckets are also fine for this program. Come prepared to listen, try new things, and have fun!

Mr. Mosley is a lead drummer for the Kuumba Dance and Drum Academy, and specializes in beginner percussion experiences. “Drumming is a great way to nurture the musician in all of us.” Ages 12 and up.
