We are sorry to announce that this event has been cancelled.  We hope to reschedule this creative duo at a later date.

Ages 8 and up. Live Zoom Presentation.

Free, registration required.

In this energetic 50-minute Zoom session from Amsterdam, Raw Resonance invites you to join them on an interactive musical journey. Make music together, share creative ideas, see some of their work in the Netherlands, and most of all, have fun! Connect and make music in an online space, listen and sing along with singer-songwriter HAN (Here And Now) Van’t Land, and play along with the samba grooves of percussionist Jeroen Hensel.

There’s no need to bring or play an instrument – your own body is the best instrument you’ve got! Come with your creativity and an open mind, and be prepared to make something from nothing, connect to a faraway place, and be surprised!

Workshop leaders Han Van’t Land and Jeroen Hensel are trained music teachers specializing in interactive events for children. In addition to performing in schools and festivals, Raw Resonance has created “De Vulkaan” (“The Volcano”), a children’s interactive music theater project on issues of living in harmony with nature. Van’t Land also trains teachers in conflict areas working with refugee children, while Hensel, a virtuoso Brazilian Samba percussionist, is developing a program for children in the slums of Rio de Janeiro.

With support from Kids Need Music.
