Art for the Academy

Final weekend. Most available work discounted by 15%.

The new roof is on, windows are being fitted in one-by-one, old white paint is being stripped from the outer walls, the Spencertown Academy is well on its way to complete restoration.

The end is in sight, we’re only about $150,000 away from reaching our goal for the building restoration and maintenance endowment fund. To help get us there, we are holding a special art show fund-raiser, which to date has been a tremendous success!Our gallery shows are an intrinsic component of our yearly programming at the Academy and a valuable resource for artists in our region to exhibit their work in a beautiful space.

Artists for the Academy….

Artists from throughout the region have donated prized works that are gracing our gallery through Sunday, February 2nd. With their generosity, all proceeds will go to help the Academy reach its fiscal goals. And, importantly for art lovers, the featured works will be offered at special, lower prices to make the show that much more irresistible to buyers. Fine arts, photography, ceramics, illustration, sculpture – all are on display in our galleries.

For this final weekend, most remaining works will be offered at a 15% discount.
