Hidden Gardens Tour

This popular annual Academy event celebrates artful landscapes in Columbia County. The self-guided tour affords the garden lover (and the voyeur) an opportunity to visit a selection of residential properties in our area that are not open to the public. Highlights of this year’s tour include a private woodland walk designed by Pinnacle Trail Builders for the client. Also, a rare chance to view one garden host’s extensive model train set up that he has been building for 10 years. A tour ticket also offers free admission to the restored (and rarely open) Gardens at Steepletop, the home of poet Edna St. Vincent Millay in Austerlitz.  Rain or Shine.
