The Gallery at Spencertown Academy

About the Gallery

Located on the first floor of the Academy, the gallery offers art exhibitions and art-related programming throughout the year. Our team of volunteer curators collaboratively produces our exhibition schedule, which includes:

  • Small group invitational shows
  • An annual Members’ Art Show
  • Open call, regional juried shows
  • Special exhibits/art events

Hours of Operation

During exhibits the gallery is open:
Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays, 1:00-5:00pm, or by appointment.

Featuring work by over 80 Academy member artists in all media.
While our Members’ Show is over, you can still view all of the work online.

Inquiries

Local or regional artists interested in exhibiting at the Academy should consider entering our Annual Members’ Art Show or an open call juried show. Join our mailing list to learn about upcoming opportunities.

Traveling art exhibits with a track record of success will be considered if they feature work we feel is of interest to our community. Proposals should be sent to art@spencertownacademy.org.

Volunteering: We are always looking for volunteers to help as gallery attendants during exhibit hours (in 2-hour shifts on weekends). If you are interested, please contact: info@spencertownacademy.org.
