Make it, Shrink it, Wear it! Jewelry, Charms and more

Creative wearable jewelry, charms and more! Let your imagination run wild and your creativity soar. Trace a picture of a pet or loved one (bring a photo or two with you) or an art masterpiece onto a sheet of polystyrene with markers and colored pencils. Cut them out, punch a hole, put them in our toaster oven and watch your creation shrink and thicken in just seconds.

You decide if you want to make a key chain, earrings, neckless or name tag for your backpack, or make a few if time allows. Demonstrations, helpful hints and all materials including beads and findings are included. Lots of fun and encouragement along with inspiration from your fellow participants ensures a good time and wearable art you will be proud to wear or give as gifts.

Admission is free, but registration is required.
Ages 8 and over, maximum of 12 participants.

Director: Art School of Columbia County, working artist, photographer, gardener, foodie. Karen shares her passion, knowledge and joy of creating in many forms through teaching both Adult Ed and Children in Columbia County.
