Spencertown Academy Arts Center Presents “The Twilight BBQ Dance Party” June 29
Spencertown, New York–Spencertown Academy Arts Center presents “The Twilight BBQ Dance Party” on Saturday, June 29 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm on the grounds of the Austerlitz Historical Society located at 11458 NY-22 in Austerlitz, New York. Tickets to this family-friendly event are $175 for all-event access (dinner, beverages, music, dancing), $25 for all-event access for children 12 years old and under, $ 75 for music, dancing, and beverages after 7:00pm, and $300 and $500 for featured level sponsorship, including special thanks in the program. Spencertown Academy Board Members Charles Baum and Nick Van Alstine are serving as co-chairs for the dinner. “It’s time for our annual kickoff to the summer season! Put on your dancin’ shoes and join us under the big top for an unforgettable evening of tasty BBQ and music from Silver Arrow Band—one of the hottest party bands around,” says Nick Van Alstine, president of Spencertown Academy Arts Center’s Board of Directors. “Help us celebrate and support the Academy and greet friends and neighbors, old and new.”
Partygoers will enjoy craft beer and cider from Roaring 20s Brewery of New Lebanon, as well as wine and soft drinks and a decadent Southern-style buffet BBQ dinner from Momma Lo’s of Great Barrington. There will be a silent auction featuring an array of enticing items, including gorgeous tabletop and glassware.
The Silver Arrow Band is a high-energy party band that plays dance hits from throughout the decades, ranging from contemporary Top 40 to Motown, funk, and soul to rock and pop throwbacks.
Founded in 1972, Spencertown Academy Arts Center is a cultural center and community resource serving Columbia County, the Berkshires, and the Capital region.
