The Lustre Kings

Saturday, April 13, 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

7:00pm dance lesson, music to follow. The Lustre Kings are more than just another rockabilly revival outfit churning out versions of popular Elvis Presley and Chuck Berry tunes. Lead singer and guitarist Mark Gamsjager has a natural affinity for the music and delivers a rootsy twang on his electric Gretsch guitar. See The Lustre Kings’ video. Fourteenth Annual Festival of Books

Friday, August 30 - Monday, September 2

The annual Festival of Books at Spencertown Academy Arts Center is a celebration of books and reading for the whole community. For three days in early September we welcome outstanding writers and poets and nearly 2,000 readers and book-lovers to our 1847 schoolhouse in rural Columbia County. This year’s festival will feature a visit from Froggy on Saturday morning for the kids.
