Native plants expert Duncan Brine, a principal landscape designer at GardenLarge, and an instructor at the New York Botanical Garden and the New England Wild Flower Society, will give a lecture titled “Creating Gardens in the Hudson Valley: A Naturalistic Approach to Landscape Design.” Brine’s philosophy of garden design, which he calls “structured naturalism,” focuses on the use of natives, curating existing plant material, and creating drama in the garden.
A light continental breakfast will be served.
