THIRD ANNUAL FESTIVAL OF BOOKS
Friday, September 5 - Sunday September 14, 2008 
Mark your calendar now for the third annual Festival of Books, a celebration of books and reading for the whole community. This year's Festival will feature over 12,000 new and gently used books at very affordable prices, plus two full weekends of authors' readings, panel discussions, children's programs and other special events.

Special guests this year include prize-winning authors, Russell Banks, Mary Gordon, Rigoberto Gonzales, Da Chen and many others.

BLUES JAM
8:00pm – Free
Monthly drop-in blues jam for professional and amateur musicians.
Second Wednesday each month.

Thursday, September 11 

Literary Study Group: The Nei Jing

6:30pm - $15 per session

A literary study group in classical Chinese medicine for anyone interested in ancient Chinese culture and literature,
as well as health and the environment. No previous knowledge of Chinese medicine is necessary.

Drop-in drum circle for all ages. No experience required.
